Figgy Pudding martini

Cocktail recipe

The Figgy Pudding in this cocktail comes from Tarquins. Our twist includes cider brandy from Fowey Valley. A proper Cornish cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 10ml vanilla syrup

  • 15ml Fowey Valley brandy

  • 10ml Cointreau

  • 15ml red vermouth

  • 25ml Tarquins figgy pudding gin

  • 25ml Manzana Verde

  • Foaming agent (we use Mrs betters foaming bitters, but a whole egg white will do the trick)

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients into a shaker and dry shake without any ice.

  2. Shake again with ice and double strain into a chilled martini glass.

Fowey Valley

This cider brandy – crafted and distilled from scratch in Fowey Valley using fresh West Country apples sets this Cornish martini apart. You can buy their special brandy online.
