Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall
From 6-10 August 2025, along the cliff path from Watergate Bay, you'll find the UK's biggest surf and music festival.
Boardmasters is back for 2025 and bigger than ever.
The festival first started as a surf competition in 1981, and with Newquay being home to some of the UK's best waves, the tradition has carried on to 2022. You can find all surf events happening over on Fistral beach.
A shuttle will be running from Watergate Bay to Fistral, so those visiting the main festival, can head over from the campsite to take part in everything going on.
Everyone is welcome to watch the pro's battle it out to win the Boardmasters trophy and to soak up the good vibes. All competitions are free for spectators to watch.

This annual festival celebrates the visual arts heritage and vibrant creative culture of Cornwall. FORM showcases over 90 exhibitors, including painters, ceramicists, printmakers, jewellers and woodworkers. It’s free to attend, family and dog friendly, and all under cover. There will be live music to soundtrack the weekend and street food available.
