Event FAQs
If conditions prevent dining on the beach, we'll contact you to reschedule or refund the ticket. We monitor the forecast closely ahead of each date.
Vegetarian meals are available. Please let us know in advance at events@watergatebay.co.uk if you require this option and we'll take care of the rest.
Our beach suppers are cooked in an outdoor kitchen setting, so whilst our team takes every precaution, we're unfortunately unable to cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies, and cannot guarantee a trace-free environment or rule out the chances of cross-contamination.
Dress for the beach and the season. Layers, flat shoes and a blanket are always a good idea — even in summer, evenings on the sand can get cool.
The event takes place at the north end of Watergate Bay beach. Our team will meet you on the sand and guide you to the tables.
For evening events, the bar opens from 5pm and guests are seated from around 5.30pm. For the long table lunch, arrivals are from 3pm with guests seated from 3.30pm.
Yes, there's a cashless bar on the beach serving a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks.

Event ticket sales
Watergate Bay Hotel Ltd of On the Beach, Watergate Bay, Cornwall, TR8 4AA is the event organiser.
The name of the event, venue, time, date and number of guests are detailed on your email confirmation/ ticket.
Tickets will be confirmed by email to the email address used during purchase. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours please contact our guest services team on events@watergatebay.co.uk
The confirmation email is your event ticket.
Please ensure you advise us immediately of any changes to your contact details.
Our events will be in touch prior to the event to check dietary requirements and provide any further details.
Drinks can be purchased at the event, you are not permitted to bring your own drinks.
The ticket price includes VAT at the appropriate rate.
Cancellation and refunds
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded, resold, exchanged or returned.
In the event of cancellation by us, the ticket price will be refunded. Watergate Bay Hotel cannot be held liable for any cost you may incur for travel, accommodation, any other goods or service or any compensation.
If weather conditions prevent outside dining, the event will be cancelled with a full refund.
Restrictions and security
We reserve the right to refuse admission and refunds will not be given to anyone refused entry.
Admittance
There is only one ticket price available - there is no child ticket option/menu. Everyone attending the event must have purchased a ticket. Unfortunately, this event isn’t suitable for dogs.
Accessibility
The event takes place towards the north end of the beach and we will have hosts to meet you on the beach and accompany you to the site on foot, we do have beach wheelchairs available for pre-booking. For more information please contact us before booking your tickets.

Personal information collected from ticket holders will be used by us solely in connection with the event and our payment provider, and will not be disclosed to any additional third party.
