Booking and reservations
Availability shown online is live and up to date. If you can’t find what you're looking for, it might be that the same room type isn't available, or that you need interconnecting rooms. Please email life@watergatebay.co.uk to discuss your options.
There’s no minimum stay except over peak periods, including four nights over Christmas and three nights over New Year. There are no checkouts on Monday 10 August during Boardmasters.

Payment and rates
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking.
Watergate Bay is a cashless business, we accept payment via Visa and Mastercard only.
All prices are calculated per room, per night and based on two people sharing, except for family suites which are per room per night based on the maximum amount of people sharing the room.
Prices are advertised as a per room rate except for packages like Taste of the Bay which is a per person rate.
Guest app, check-in and planning ahead
We have a dedicated guest App (available from the Google Play and Apple App stores)
The guest app allows you to start building your itinerary from the moment you book your room, including dinner times, treatments, activities and to view menus.
How to log into the guest app. Use your reservation number from your confirmation email and last name to log in. If you prefer, you can also use the email address and password, (select 'forgot password' to reset).
Your room will be ready at 3pm, (or 3.30pm for the Village apartments).
On departure, please check out of your room by 11am (or 11:30am for the Village apartments).
Parking is free for hotel resident guests. Please make sure the front desk team have your registration number. Car parks include the hotel main entrance, outside the Coach House, on Tregurrian Hill and the public beach car park.
The Village family apartments have their own parking bays. You can also use the other hotel car parks provided the front desk team have your registration details
We have ten electric vehicle chargers. They are 'slow charge' for use by hotel guests and carry a charge per kWh. Please download the 'Monta EV charging' app for further information. The chargers are located outside the hotel main entrance, by the beach lofts and in the Village car park.

Dogs and pet policies
Yes, we welcome dogs with open arms. We have dog friendly rooms available and hotel areas you can visit with your dog.

Children and families
Additional occupants aged 3+ years are charged 25% of the double room rate. Family suites are charged per night up to the maximum stated occupancy.
We have a tablet and camera baby monitoring service available. The tablet works throughout the hotel and restaurants. They do not work in the Village apartments.
Babysitting is available on request by submitting a babysitting request form. More information on the Kids Zone page.
We have a family games room, playrooms and an outdoor play area. For the latest information on the availability of our supervised sessions and our Kids' Zone areas, click here.
Travel cots can be provided and sleep children up to the age of three.
During school holidays, early supper is available in The Dining Room from 5–5.45pm.
Rooms
Some rooms have air conditioning.
Every room is ensuite with a shower, but not all rooms have a bath. Some have a separate bath, some have a shower over bath and some are shower only. Email our reservations team for full details life@watergatebay.co.uk.
Not all our rooms have a sea view. We have three categories of room. House (no sea view), partial sea view rooms, which look over the car park down the coastline, and sea view rooms. Two family suites have partial sea views. The remaining are in the coach house at the back of the hotel. These rooms do not have sea views. View our rooms page for more information.
Each room has a robe, land&water products including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand sanitiser, a fridge with water and milk, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, WIFI, flat-screen TV, iron & ironing board or steamer and Ruark Bluetooth radio speaker. We do not provide shower caps, body lotion, sewing kits or slippers.

Swim Club
Swim Club features a 25m pool with a shallow area for younger children and families, hot tub, sauna, gym and treatment rooms, as well our ocean room with a café bar.

Ice cream on the pool deck? Sundowner cocktails in the ocean room? Order off the café bar menu, just scan QR codes found throughout Swim Club's spaces.
Yes, treatments are available to book using the mobile app, or online. Open to residents and non-residents.
We've both male and female therapists working in Swim Club.
Adult only sessions run from 7am - 9am and 6pm - 9pm.
Yes, we have a hot tub and sauna overlooking the Bay, we ask that you limit your session to 15 minutes if people are waiting. For ages 16+.
In our cardio room, you’ll find a Concept2 rowing machine, SkiERG Matrix hybrid cross trainers, running machines and fitness bikes. We also have free weights and yoga mats.
The ocean room has uninterrupted views of the beach, surf and bay. It's available for everybody to use.
The beach and further afield
There is a small beach shop (The Shop on the Beach), but not a grocery store.
The nearest cash machine is in Newquay.
Newquay is the nearest town, around a ten-minute drive from Watergate Bay Hotel.
Newquay branch line is a ten-minute drive from Watergate Bay Hotel. Bodmin Parkway on the mainline is a thirty-minute drive.
Newquay airport is a ten-minute drive from Watergate Bay Hotel.
Watergate Bay beach is lifeguarded during Easter holidays and October half term, and from May until September.
Yes, Watergate Bay beach is dog friendly all year round.

Food & drink
We have three restaurants that are part of Watergate Bay hotel, The Beach Hut, The Living Space and Zacry's
Two of the restaurants are dog friendly, The Living Space and The Beach Hut.
Yes, our restaurants are all family-friendly, with children's menus available.
Family dining is available in Zacry's until 7.30pm. Children can order off the children's three course menu.
Early supper is available in The Dining Room from 5-5.45pm as a served buffet. Bookings can be made via our Guest Services team.

The Living Space lunch availability is on a walk in basis. Dinner is bookable.
Zacry's requires booking for dinner.
Tables can seat up to eight. The Living Space boardroom takes bookings for lunch for 8-10 people. Other lunch availability is on a walk-in basis. Dinner is bookable.
Room service from The Living Space can be ordered through our guest app, or through our front desk team from 12-9pm.
While we don't serve afternoon tea, we do serve coffee, cake, scones and tea in The Living Space.
The Living Space is open for lunch and dinner between 12-9pm
Zacry's is open from 5pm for dinner.
The Beach Hut
The beach car park is closest, but there is a charge.
No, bills from The Beach Hut cannot be charged to your room.
No, The Beach Hut is cashless and we accept payment by Mastercard and Visa.
Zacry's
Yes, Zacry's is family friendly, with a children's menu. We encourage families to book tables between 5pm - 7pm
Zacry's is open Tuesday - Saturday: 5pm – 9.30pm
No, you do need to book for dinner.
Zacry's serves a three-course dinner option for adults £75pp and children £30pp. View a sample menu here.
Bookings up to 6 people can be made online, contact our Guest Services team for bookings of 7 or more.
