It’s okay to ask for help, we all need it sometimes. We’ve put together this page so team have easy access to local organisations to reach out for a number of different support reasons.

Safer Futures
Safer Futures launched in July 2018, as the commissioned support service for victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Safer Futures is delivered by First Light in partnership with Barnardo’s and it is funded by Safer Cornwall. Safer Futures, provides individuals with advice and support to become safe and to recover from the effects of domestic abuse and sexual violence.
Safeguarding Adults Board
Safeguarding Adults Boards are responsible for ensuring agencies work together effectively to protect adults from abuse and neglect and supporting people who have experienced or are at risk of abuse. Each local authority area has a SAB and we jointly cover Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.


Safer Cornwall
Safer Cornwall is the community safety partnership for Cornwall.
It is made up of statutory organisations (known as responsible authorities) and a wide range of other partners from the public, voluntary, community and private sector organisations.

Black Voices Cornwall
Black Voices Cornwall has grown into an impactful organisation. We emphasise transparency in everything we do, setting bold goals and pursuing a clear strategy that seeks to move the anti-racism Cornwall needle. We are constantly growing and adapting to the changes of society, and invite you to learn more about how you can make an impact and enable Cornwall to become Actively Anti-Racist.
Man Down
Man Down is a Cornwall based non-profit Community Interest Company.
We provide informal peer-support talking groups all over Cornwall for men with mental health concerns.
Together we can end the stigma and reduce the number of male suicides in Cornwall.


Georgia's Voice
we hope to reduce the rate of suicide in young women by making them realise they are not alone, and this is not the only option.
Through our support groups we have created a huge network of support, we provide safe spaces for the girls to talk, or not talk! Somewhere they will really be listened to, with empathy, not judgement.
Pegasus - Men's Wellbeing
Pegasus – Men’s Wellbeing Centre is a safe and supportive space dedicated to helping men overcome life’s challenges, build resilience, and achieve emotional wellbeing. We’ve got this! Our team of professionally trained counsellors, psychotherapists, and coaches are committed to providing tailored and effective mental health services that empower men to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

The Women’s Centre Cornwall is a women’s charity with services across South West England.
We offer empowering support to women and girls living with the impact of sexual and domestic abuse.
