After the success of the last four years, Cornish Ramblings is excited to be back at Watergate Bay beach for the 2025 Cocker Spaniel meet-up. In an attempt to get as many of your beloved dogs in one place at the same time, Cornish Ramblings is calling on all Cocker Spaniel owners.

Excitingly, for the first time in the event’s history, the U12 and U14 shortboarders will compete under priority rules, at an event on May 17 & 18 at Watergate Bay. This change is a pivotal step for young athletes preparing to represent Team England on the world stage.

Skybar's apres-sea club nights are back on the cliffs of Watergate Bay, overlooking the beach below.

Sand artist, Sonia Shomalzadeh joins us to celebrate the ocean’s giants on the sands, in celebration of World Oceans Day.

Watch the exhilarating sport of UK Surfboat racing right on the beach at Watergate Bay. Inspired by the Australian tradition of racing surf rescue boats, the oar-powered surfboats will compete in a series of short, intense races which see crews first battle out through the incoming waves, then attempt to surf the breaking waves back to the beach. This high adrenaline competition returns to the Bay for the first time in ten years. Races start at 5.30pm.

Our free Summer Surf Sessions return to Watergate Bay. The Wave Project is an incredible charity dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of young people through the power of surf therapy.
