Paws on the Beach
A family day of canine celebrations from RSPCA Cornwall, supported by Watergate Bay.
Win prizes for dog shows and best in class, with (the small) class entry fees going to the RSPCA Cornwall Branch.

Entry fee: £2 per dog, per class
Supported by RSPCA Cornwall Branch and Watergate Bay Hotel, this special event will be packed with canine-friendly activities, including a fun dog show, ‘have-a-go’ agility experience, behaviour advice and training support.
There's plenty of entertainment for children too – from children's agility to creative arts activities and face painting, raffle and tombola stalls. And bakes, cakes, and hot drinks, to keep you fuelled.
Entry fees will go to RSPCA Cornwall branch, a self-funded Cornish charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming local animals in need.

From 'prettiest pooch' and 'most handsome hound', to 'best sandy paw shaker' and 'rocking rescue', find out more about the categories and timings for the day.

11.20am - Most handsome hound (best male)
11.40am - Pawsitively perfect puppy (best puppy under 12 months)
12pm -Rocking Rescue (best rescue)
12.20pm - Break
1pm - Fluffs & scruffs (best coat)
1.20pm - Best sandy paw shaker
1.40pm - Waggiest wavy tail
2pm - Salty sea dog senior (best senior over 8 years)
2.20pm - Best beach performer (best trick)
2.40pm - Paws on the Beach top dog (open to all)
